Chorkor is afishing village and neighbourhood in theAccra Metropolis District, adistrict in theGreater Accra Region ofGhana.[1][2] TheChorkor oven got its name from here.[3] Chorkor is a densely populated community.[4][5]Ga-Dangme is the largest ethnic group in Chorkor, followed byAkan.[6] Chorkor has electricity, water pipes, schools, and clinics.[7] Chorkor is popularly known for being the birthplace of theAzonto dance.[8]
