Choi Jae-ho (Korean: 최재호; born March 17, 1980),[1][2] known professionally asChoiza (Korean: 최자), is a South Koreanhip hop recording artist. He andGaeko comprise the hip hop duoDynamic Duo, which rose to fame upon the release of their debut albumTaxi Driver in 2004.[3] In 2006, he co-founded the South Korean record labelAmoeba Culture. He was previously a member of the hip hop trioCB Mass.[4]
On September 25, 2013, Choiza andSulli were rumored to be dating after pictures of them surfaced on the Internet.[5][6][7] Their agencies initially denied their relationship,[8] but later confirmed it on August 19, 2014,[9] as other pictures of them on a date surfaced on the internet.[10] The two ended their relationship in March 2017.[11] Both celebrities endured malicious comments andcyberbullying throughout their public relationship,[12][13] and after Sulli's death in 2019.[14][15][16][17][18][19]
Following Sulli's death, Choiza received malicious comments and was blamed by netizens for her death.[20] The cyberbullying continued after he shared a farewell message to Sulli on Instagram,[21][22][23] forcing him to disable the comments on his account.[24]
On February 17, 2023, Choiza announced his upcoming marriage with his non-celebrity girlfriend in July 2023, after three years of dating.[25] The couple married on July 9, 2023, in a private ceremony.[26] On July 11, 2024, Choi announced that the couple is expecting their first child.[27] The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on November 22, 2024.[28]
