Choi Chul-won (Korean: 최철원; born 23 July 1979) is a South Koreanfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper forFC Seoul in theK League 1.
In 2016, Choi Chul-won joinedBucheon FC 1995 and Choi madeK League 2 debut againstDaejeon Hana Citizen on 19 September 2016.[1]
In 2020 Choi Chul-won joinedSangju Sangmu on military service.[2] In June 2021, he was discharged and returnedBucheon FC 1995.[3]
In2022 K League 2 season, he gave a well-received performance and his good performance attracted attention ofK League 1 clubs.[4]
On 28 December 2022, Choi Chul-won signed a contract withK League 1 sideFC Seoul.[5]
