Chloe Chong (born 27 March 2007) is a Britishracing driver.
Chong was the youngest driver to compete inF1 Academy in theinaugural 2023 season withPrema Racing. She returned in2025 withRodin Motorsport and support fromCharlotte Tilbury. Chong also competed in theIndian Racing League andF4 British Championship.
Chong's karting experience started in 2013 atBuckmore Park Kart Circuit.[1] She debuted internationally in the Rotax Max Euro Trophy and in the IAME Ladies Cup in France in 2021.[2] In 2022, Chong was a finalist for theFIA Girls on Track - Rising Stars program, an FIA–sanctioned female talent detection program. The assessment included two days of testing in aFormula 4 car.[3]
On 15 March 2023, it was announced that Chong will compete in the2023 season ofF1 Academy forPrema Racing.[4] She was the youngest driver in the inaugural season of the championship at the age of 16 and the only one moving from karting to open wheel racing.[5][6] She finished 14th of 15 drivers, scoring 25 points across 6 races.[7][8] Chong returned in the2025 season forRodin Motorsport with support fromCharlotte Tilbury.[9] During Miami Race 1, Chong was penalized with a three-place grid drop for causing a collision.[10] She finished the season in 11th.
In December 2023, Chong raced in two rounds of theIndian Racing League with the team Speed Demons Delhi.[11] She scored a 10th place finish in her second race, salvaging points with top-6 pace after a mistake left her two laps down.[12]
For the 2024 season, Chong moved to theF4 British Championship withJHR Developments.[13] She secured a best finish of 7th place at the Donington Park, with a total of 16 points at the end of the season.[14] She was awarded the Pirelli Hardest Charger Award for round six atZandvoort, after making up a total of 25 positions over the three races.[15]
In October 2025, Chong tested theCLX MotorsportLigier JS P325LMP3 in theEuropean Le Mans Series rookie test at theAutodromo Internacional do Algarve.[16][17]
Chong was born on March 27, 2007 inWatford, United Kingdom to Canadian parents.[18][19][20] Chong attended theSevenoaks School inKent, England.[21]
