TheChinese babax (Pterorhinus lanceolatus) is a species ofbird in the familyLeiothrichidae.It is found inChina,Hong Kong,India, andMyanmar.Its naturalhabitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowlandforests and subtropical or tropical moistmontane forests.
This species was formerly placed in the genusBabax but following the publication of a comprehensivemolecular phylogenetic study in 2018, it was moved to the resurrected genusPterorhinus.[2][3]
