Chief research officer

Corporate title

Thechief research officer (CRO),research officer, orresearch director is a job title commonly given to the most senior executive in an enterprise responsible for theresearch that supports enterprise goals. Generally, the CRO reports to thechief executive officer. In educational organizations, they report to thechancellor or president.[1][2][3]
