Chenghua District (Chinese:成华区;pinyin:Chénghuá Qū) is anurban district of theCity of Chengdu, capital ofSichuan,China.[2]
Chenghua District covers part of the eastern portion of the city. As of 2020[update] it had a population of 1,381,894 residing[3] in an area of 109 square kilometres (42 sq mi). The district is bordered byXindu District to the northeast,Longquanyi District to the southeast,Jinjiang District to the south, andJinniu District to the west.

TheChengdu University of Technology is also located in Chenghua.
