José Eugenio "Cheche" Hernández Sarmiento (born 18 May 1956) is a Colombianfootballmanager and former player who played as amidfielder.
Hernández played for local sidesMillonarios andDeportivo Cali, and also competed in themen's tournament at the1980 Summer Olympics.[1] He subsequently switched to a managerial role, and was formerly a manager of thePanama and theDominican Republic national teams,[2] aside from managing clubs in Costa Rica, Peru[3] and Ecuador.
