TheChawathil First Nation orChawathil Indian Band (Halkomelem:Chowéthel)[1] is aband government of theSto:lo people located in theUpper Fraser Valley region nearHope, British Columbia, Canada.[2] They are a member government of theStó:lō Tribal Council. They are the operators of the Telte-yet Campground, which is on the banks of the Fraser in downtownHope.[3]

Reserves

Their main reserveChawathil 4 is located byKatz, a station of theCanadian Pacific Railway.[4] It comprises almost 90% of their total landbase of 614.1 ha (1517 acres).
