As per the recent changes on Assembly constituency delimitations, Chavara Assembly constituency consists of the seven wards fromKollam Municipal Corporation (Maruthadi,Sakthikulangara, Meenathuchery,Kavanad,Vallikeezhu,Alattukavu, Kannimel) and five neighbouring panchayaths includingChavara,Neendakara,Panmana,Chavara Thekkumbhagom andThevalakkara.[2][3]
