Chavakkad Beach is a beach inChavakkad Municipality ofThrissur District in the Indian state ofKerala. It lies on theArabian Sea coast and attracts tourists. The beach is situated 5 Kilometers fromGuruvayoor Temple Sri Krishna Temple. At this beach the river meets the sea forming anestuary. The meeting point is known asAzhimukham inMalayalam. It is counted amongstKerala’s most popular beaches because it is unexplored by domestic tourists.[1][2]
