Chatos orTziaos (Greek:Τζιάος orΚιάδος;Turkish:Serdarlı orÇatoz) is aTurkish Cypriot village inCyprus, located 3 km north ofMarathovounos.[3] It is under thede facto control of the illegalNorthern Cyprus, as is the northern 38% of the island, which is illegally occupied by the Turkish military, following theTurkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974.
