Charlotte Arter (born 18 June 1991) is a British distance athlete. Arter comes fromCumbria but representsWales in athletics, having qualified via the residency rule. Arter previously worked forCardiff University, managing their high performance athletics programme.[1] She is the current Welsh record holder in thehalf marathon.[2] She is the current joint women'sParkrun record holder, setting a time of 15 minutes and 49 seconds atCardiff Parkrun on 1 February 2020.[3][4] She was the 2018 British10,000m champion.[5]

Arter was selected to representWales at the 2022 Commonwealth Games,[6] but she had to withdraw for medical reasons and did not compete.[7]
