American director, producer and screenwriter
Charlie Wachtel is an American director,producer andscreenwriter. He is best known for co-writing the 2018 American filmBlacKkKlansman bySpike Lee alongside David Rabinowitz.[1] The film was nominated for sixAcademy Awards, winning in theBest Adapted Screenplay category.[2][3]
Wachtel and Rabinowitz also worked on a script forThacher Island, based onCasey Sherman’sAnimal,[4] andMadness, a series about college basketball.[1]
