Carlo "Charlie"Villani (born 2 March 1963) is an Australian formersoccer player who played as aforward.
Villani began his senior career atAdelaide City in theNational Soccer League where he played between 1984 and 1989.
Villani played one full international match in 1987 forAustralia when he came on as an 83rd-minute substitute againstMorocco inGangneung.[1]
He also played four matches with the Socceroo B team.[2]
In 2002 Villani coachedAdelaide City in theNational Soccer League before resigning mid-season after a poor run of results.[3][4]
On 22 October 2009, he was appointed as coach of theAdelaide City who were then in theSouth Australian Super League.[5]
