Charles Palmer (born 1965) is an English television director. He is best known for his work onPoldark,Doctor Who, andAgatha Christie's Marple.^[1]

Palmer is the son of actorGeoffrey Palmer (1927–2020) and Sally Green. He was married to actressClaire Skinner from 2001 to 2016.^[2] The couple had two sons, William John (b. 1999) and Thomas Henry (b. 2002).^[3][4]
