Charles Palmer (born 1965) is an English television director. He is best known for his work onPoldark,Doctor Who, andAgatha Christie's Marple.[1]
Palmer is the son of actorGeoffrey Palmer (1927–2020) and Sally Green. He was married to actressClaire Skinner from 2001 to 2016.[2] The couple had two sons, William John (b. 1999) and Thomas Henry (b. 2002).[3][4]
His picture is used in the opening credits ofAs Time Goes By besideJudi Dench's daughter,Finty Williams. The series starred his father,Geoffrey Palmer.
