Mitchell LaValley (born March 3, 1997) is an Americanprofessional wrestler. He is signed toWWE where he performs on theNXTbrand under thering nameChanning "Stacks" Lorenzo, where he is the currentNXT Heritage Cup Champion in his first reign. He is also a formertwo-timeNXT Tag Team Champion. He also makes appearances in WWE's partner promotionTotal Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he is a former one-timeTNA International Champion.
In 2014, Lavalley wonWWE's Show Us Your Superstar contest when he was 18, making a series of videos at theWWE Performance Center before appearing on theSummerSlam pre-show panel.[3] Lavalley was trained byJacobs-Prichard Wrestling Academy.[3] Lavalley, under thering nameJake Tucker, made hisprofessional wrestling debut on August 24, 2019 by defeating Sean Stephens.[5] Lavalley made an appearance on the December 2 episode ofRaw asenhancement talent, going under the ring nameMitchell Lyons and teaming withMark Sterling to lose againstThe Viking Raiders (Erik andIvar).[6]
Tucker appeared forAll Elite Wrestling (AEW) on the June 15, 2021 episode ofDark, losing to Frankie Kazarian.[7] He also wrestled on the July 13 episode ofDark, losing toThe Blade.[8]
On March 17, 2022, Lavalley signed adevelopmental contract with WWE and was assigned to the WWE Performance Center.[3] Lavalley, going under the ring nameChanning "Stacks" Lorenzo, made his debut on April 19 episode ofNXT alongsideTroy "Two Dimes" Donovan, attackingSantos Escobar during a match.[9] The following week onNXT,Tony D'Angelo, with thegimmick of an Italian-American mobster and the leader ofThe D'Angelo Family stable, introduced them as his henchmen, establishing themselves asheels in the process.[10] On June 4, atNXT In Your House, The D'Angelo Family defeatedLegado Del Fantasma and as per the stipulation, Legado Del Fantasma had to join The D'Angelo Family.[11] After Two Dime's firing on the August 2 episode ofNXT, Lorenzo and D'Angelo faced TheCreed Brothers for theNXT Tag Team Championship, but were defeated due to Escobar turning on D'Angelo.[12]
AtNXT Stand & Deliver, on April 1, 2023, Lorenzo and D'Angelo, nowface, failed to win the NXT Tag Team Championship in atriple threat match.[13] AtNXT: The Great American Bash, Lorenzo and D'Angelo defeatedGallus (Wolfgang andMark Coffey) to win the NXT Tag Team Championship, marking the first championship in his career.[14] AtNXT: Halloween Havoc, on October 24, they lost the titles toChase University (Andre Chase andDuke Hudson).[15] They regained the titles on the November 14 episode ofNXT from Chase University.[16] On the February 13, 2024 episode ofNXT, Stacks and D'Angelo lost the titles toBron Breakker andBaron Corbin.[17] On the April 16 episode ofNXT, D'Angelo revealed that his Family were hired byNo Quarter Catch Crew to (kayfabe) eliminate their leaderDrew Gulak. D'Angelo demanded payment for the job but NQCC refused, causing a brawl between the two factions[18] and resulting in asix-man tag team match between the two factions at Week 1 ofSpring Breakin', which was won by The D'Angelo Family.[19]
AtNXT Stand & Deliver on April 19, 2025, during the six-man tag team match between The D'Angelo Family againstDarkState (Dion Lennox,Saquon Shugars and Osiris Griffin), Lorenzo turned on D'Angelo after months of D'Angelo distrusting Lorenzo, turning heel in the process.[20] AtNXT Battleground on May 25, Lorenzo defeated D’Angelo despite interference from Crusifino.[21] On the June 24 episode ofNXT, Stacks defeated D'Angelo 2—1 inBritish Rounds Rules to win the vacantNXT Heritage Cup, the first singles championship in his career. Shortly after, D'Angelo tossed the NXT Heritage Cup off a bridge for the Cup "to sleep with the fishes." Ever since then, Lorenzo has not been seen with the Cup and was no longer mentioned as NXT Heritage Cup Champion on-screen but is still officially recognized as champion by WWE.[22] On the October 21 episode ofNXT, Lorenzo challengedTotal Nonstop Action's (TNA)Leon Slater for theTNA X Division Championship but failed to win the title.[23] AtFinal Resolution on December 5, 2025, Lorenzo defeatedSteve Maclin to win theTNA International Championship, becoming a double champion in the process.[24] AtGenesis, accompanied by his fiancee Arianna Grace, he defeatedEric Young, BDE, andKJ Orso in a four-way match to retain theTNA International Championship, only to lose it toTrey Miguel a month later atNo Surrender in Miguel's Feast of Fired match for the championship.
LaValley is a 2019 graduate of NC State University holding a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. On the October 15, 2025 episode ofNXT,Santino Marella revealed that his daughter,Arianna Grace, is engaged to LaValley.
