Chahār BāghSchool or theChahār BāghMadrasa (Persian:مدرسه چهارباغ,romanized: Madrese-ye Chahār Bāgh,lit. 'School of the Four Gardens'), also known asMadrese-ye Madar-e Shah, is a 17–18th century cultural complex inIsfahan,Iran.[1] The compound was built during the reign ofSoltan Hoseyn, aSafavid shah, to serve as a theological and clerical school.[citation needed]
