On 1 January 1972,Ouézy and Cesny-aux-Vignes were amalgamated to become the commune ofCesny-aux-Vignes-Ouézy, but on 1 January 2006, Ouézy and Cesny-aux-Vignes were re-established as two separate communes.[3]
