Cerizy (French pronunciation:[səʁizi]) is acommune in theAisnedepartment inHauts-de-France in northernFrance. It is part of theCanton ofRibemont.[3][4]

During theRetreat from Mons on 28 August 1914, the British12th Lancers charged a dismounted Prussian Guard Dragoon regiment[5] near the village.[6]
