TheCephalonia Prefecture (Greek:Νομός Κεφαλληνίας) was aprefecture inGreece, containing theIonian islands ofCephalonia andIthaca. In 2011 the prefectural self-government was abolished and the territory is now covered by theregional units ofCephalonia andIthaca.
