The commune is part of the area known asSuisse Normande.[3]

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets,La Lande,La Mogisière,La Brocquetière andCauville.[4]

The Commune along with another nine communes shares part of a 5,729 hectare,Natura 2000 conservation area, called theBassin de la Druance.[5]

The commune has four streams running through it: The Hamelet, The Val Quebert, The Herbion and The Cresme.
