TheCatholic News Agency (CNA) is a news service owned byEternal Word Television Network (EWTN)^[1] that provides news related to theCatholic Church to a globalAnglophone audience. It was founded in 2004 inDenver,Colorado, United States as the English section of the worldwide ACI Group, which publishes the Spanish-language news serviceACI Prensa [es]. It was acquired by EWTN in 2014.^[2] It is now based inWashington, D.C.

In 2011, CNA said its editors would provide free news, features, commentary, and photojournalism to editors of newspapers.^[3]
