Open source is one kind of "openness" but it is a technical term with a long history and refers only to a type of software. It is not a general term for anything that is "open".

In this discussionWikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2013_May_31#Category:Open_methodologies there was no consensus to do anything yet somehow "open methodologies" was deleted and all contents merged here.
