This is amaintenance category, used formaintenance of the Wikipedia project. It is not part of the encyclopedia and containsnon-article pages, or groups articles by status rather than subject. Do not include this category in content categories (except foreponymous maintenance categories).

This is atracking category. It builds and maintains a list of pages primarily for the sake of the list itself. They are not part of theencyclopedia's categorization scheme.

This category ishidden on itsmember pages—unless the correspondinguser preference (Appearance → Show hidden categories) is set.
These categories can be used to track, build and organize lists of pages needing "attentionen masse" (for example, pages using deprecated syntax), or that may need to be edited at someone's earliest convenience.
These categories also serve to aggregate members of several lists or sub-categories into a larger, more efficient list (discriminated by classifications).

Thiscategory is for allnon-free media on Wikipedia that use anon-free use rationale template where the|article= parameter contains the name of an existing Wikipedia article. Thenon-free content policy requires, as part of thefair use rationale, that all non-free media name the article(s) in which it will be used. As well as naming the article, the template also automaticallywikilinks it.This is not intended to be part of thedeletion process, but as a tool to help fix legacy files. In most cases, the files have not been independently checked to verify that the name matches the actual article(s) in which the file is used, that the name refers to the correct article (in the case of multiple uses), or that the name is an actualmainspace article (as opposed to aredirect ordisambiguation).
