Thiscategory contains articles that are about entiregroups of asteroids, but not about the specificasteroids that are in those groups themselves; specific asteroids should be placed in categories named after the group they're in, which is then a subcategory ofCategory:Asteroids.
Asteroids should be sorted using a 0-padded 6-digitsortkey based on theirnumerical designation. Otherwise, their provisional designation should be used. For example,
- 145 Adeona would use
[[Category:Small-asteroids collision|000145]]. - (65407) 2002 RP120 would use
[[Category:Damocloids|065407]]. - 1999 LE31 would simply use
[[Category:Damocloids|1999 LE31]].
