TheCatechism for Filipino Catholics, orCFC, is a contextualized and inculturatedRoman Catholiccatechism forFilipinos prepared by theCatholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and approved by theHoly See. The draft was produced by the CBCP's "Episcopal Commission onCatechesis and Catholic Education."

It is considered the present-day successor of the early 16th centuryDoctrina Christiana, the first book printed in what is now the Philippines. TheDoctrina Christiana[1] was written inTagalog, in bothabecedario (the newly developed Latinised orthography) and the indigenousBaybayin script commonly used at the time, as well asSpanish.
