Carson Reed Ware (born February 28, 2000) is an American professionalstock car racing driver. He competes part-time in theNASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 74Chevrolet SS forMike Harmon Racing, and the No. 07Chevrolet SS forSS-Green Light Racing. He has also raced in theARCA Menards Series andNASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.
Before racing inNASCAR and theARCA Menards Series, Ware competed in Pro Late Models.[1] In October 2019, he made his ARCA debut atKansas Speedway withRick Ware Racing in a partnership withVenturini Motorsports.[2] The following month, he joinedReaume Brothers Racing for his firstNASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series event with theLucas Oil 150 atISM Raceway.[3]
In May 2020, Ware made hisNASCAR Xfinity Series debut atBristol Motor Speedway withSS-Green Light Racing;[4] the team had formed an alliance with Rick Ware Racing to run the No. 07 car for Ware and RWR's other drivers.[5]
He is the son ofRick Ware and brother ofCody Ware.[6]
On October 20, 2021, Ware was arrested inRowan County, North Carolina, on assault and property damage charges. NASCAR indefinitely suspended him after the arrest.[7] On June 8, 2022, NASCAR lifted Ware's suspension.[8]
