Carnalbanagh (from Irish Carn Albanach 'cairn of the Scotsmen'ⓘ)[1] is a small village andtownland (of 1,628 acres) inCounty Antrim,Northern Ireland, 13 km east-north-east ofBallymena.[1] It is situated in thecivil parish ofTickmacrevan and the historicbarony ofGlenarm Lower,[2] and is part ofMid and East Antrim district. It lies aboveGlenarm and is close to MountSlemish.
Local services include anOrange Hall andPresbyterian church. The local flute band is known as Carnalbanagh Flute Band. The primary school closed in 2021.
The name 'Carnalbanagh' can also be spelt 'Cairnalbana' or 'Carnalbana.'
