Carmela Allucci (born 22 January 1970) is a femalewater polomidfielder fromItaly, who won the gold medal with the Women's National Team at the2004 Summer Olympics inAthens, Greece.[1]

Allucci was given the honour tocarry the national flag of Italy at the closing ceremony of the2004 Summer Olympics,[1] becoming thefirst female water polo player to be aflag bearer at the opening and closingceremonies of the Olympics.
