Carlos Toussaint (1901–1975) was a Mexicanfilm director andproduction designer. He was active during theGolden Age of Mexican Cinema and worked asart director on many productions. He also directed fourteen films between 1940 and 1964 including theCantinflasshortCantinflas y su prima.[1][2] He was married to themakeup artist Sara Mateos.
