Carlos Roberto Rocha Gallo (born 4 March 1956), known asCarlos, is a Brazilian former professionalfootballer who played as agoalkeeper. He competed in themen's tournament at the1976 Summer Olympics and won a gold medal infootball at the 1975 Pan American Games.[1]
In a club career which spanned from 1974 to 1993, Carlos Gallo played forPonte Preta,Corinthians,Atlético Mineiro,Guarani,Palmeiras,Portuguesa andMalatyaspor (1988–1989) in Turkey. He won twoBrazilian Silver Ball Awards.
At international level, Carlos Gallo played 44 matches for theBrazil national team, between 1976 and June 1993, and was selected for the1978,1982 and1986FIFA World Cup tournaments, playing in the latter edition of the competition. He conceded only one goal in the five World Cup games Brazil played in 1986.
