Caririsuchus is an extinctgenus ofpeirosaurid[1]crocodylomorph.Fossils have been found from theRomualdo Formation of theSantana Group in theAraripe Basin in northeasternBrazil, dating back to theAlbian stage of theEarly Cretaceous.[2] It was about 1.5 metres (4.9 ft) in length.
