TheCapertee River, aperennial stream[1] that is part of theHawkesbury-Nepean catchment, is located in theCentral Tablelands region ofNew South Wales,Australia.
The Capertee River rises on theGreat Dividing Range, close to Bogee, southeast ofKandos, formed by theconfluence of the Tea Tree Creek and Brymair Creek, and flows through theCapertee Valley, generally to the south, east, and southeast, joined by seven minortributaries, to its confluence withWolgan River to form theColo River, northeast ofNewnes. The river descends 363 metres (1,191 ft) over its 105-kilometre (65 mi)course.[2]
