
Cape Hawke (32°12′S152°34′E / 32.200°S 152.567°E /-32.200; 152.567) is a coastal headland in Australia on theNew South Wales coast, just south ofForster/Tuncurry and within theBooti Booti National Park.
The cape was named byCaptain Cook when he passed it on hisEndeavour voyage on 12 May 1770, honoringEdward Hawke who wasFirst Lord of the Admiralty.[1]
