Cape Anamur is a headland on theMediterranean Sea coast ofMersin Province,Turkey.

Cape Anamur is the southernmost point ofAnatolian peninsula at36°01′17″N32°48′07″E / 36.02139°N 32.80194°E /36.02139; 32.80194.[1] The ancient cityAnemurium lies on the hills to the north of the cape. The townÖren is to the north and theilçe (district center) modernAnamur is to the north east. Turkish highwayD.400 which runs along the cost is about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) to the north. The distance from the cape to Anamur is about 7 kilometres (4.3 mi).
