State Route 182 (SR 182) is astate highway in theU.S. state ofCalifornia inMono County. The route connectsU.S. Route 395 inBridgeport toNevada State Route 338 at theNevada state line via theEast Walker River valley.
SR 182 begins at an intersection withU.S. Route 395 in the small town ofBridgeport. The road then exits the town and traverses the east edge of theBridgeport Reservoir, which is located along theEast Walker River. Upon leaving the reservoir, the route enters theToiyabe National Forest while paralleling the East Walker River. After several miles, the road finds its end at theNevada state line. The road continues northeastward asNevada State Route 338.[2]
SR 182 is not part of theNational Highway System,[3] a network of highways that are considered essential to the country's economy, defense, and mobility by theFederal Highway Administration.[4]
