California's 15th congressional district is acongressional district in theU.S. state ofCalifornia. The district is currently represented byDemocrat Kevin Mullin.

Currently, the district includes most ofSan Mateo County and the southeast side ofSan Francisco. Cities in the district includeDaly City,South San Francisco,San Bruno,Millbrae,Burlingame,Hillsborough,San Mateo,Foster City,San Carlos,Belmont,Redwood City, andEast Palo Alto.[3]

Prior to the2022 United States House of Representatives elections, the district covered most of eastern and southwesternAlameda County as well as part ofContra Costa County. Cities andCDPs in the district includedCastro Valley,Dublin,Hayward,Livermore,Pleasanton,Sunol, andUnion City; most ofSan Ramon; and parts ofDanville andFremont. The new 15th district roughly corresponds to the old14th district and vice versa.

Under the 2020 redistricting, California's 15th congressional district is located in theSan Francisco Bay Area, encompassing the east coast ofSan Mateo County and the southeast side of theCity and County of San Francisco. The area in San Mateo County includes the northern portions of the town ofAtherton and city ofMenlo Park; the cities ofSan Mateo,Daly City,South San Francisco,Redwood City,Burlingame,San Bruno,Millbrae,East Palo Alto,San Carlos,Foster City,Belmont,Brisbane; the towns ofHillsborough andColma; and the census-designated placesNorth Fair Oaks,Broadmoor,Highlands,Baywood Park, andEmerald Lake Hills. The area in San Francisco includes the neighborhoods ofCrocker-Amazon,Excelsior,Little Hollywood, Mission Terrace,Oceanview,Outer Mission, Portola, andVisitacion Valley.

San Mateo County is split between this district and the16th district. They are partitioned by the San Francisquito Creek, Menalto Ave, Willow Rd, S Perimeter Rd, W Perimeter Rd, Bay Rd, Marsh Rd, Middlefield Rd, Highway 82, Highway 84, Alameda de las Pulgas, Woodhill Dr, Farm Hill Blvd, The Loop Rd, Jefferson Ave, Summit Way, California Way, Junipero Serra Freeway, and Highway 35.
