CUMYL-THPINACA (also known asSGT-42) is anindazole-3-carboxamide basedsynthetic cannabinoid.[1][2] CUMYL-THPINACA acts as a potentagonist for thecannabinoid receptors, with approximately 6x selectivity forCB1, having an EC50 of 0.1nM for humanCB1 receptors and 0.59nM for humanCB2 receptors.[3]
Sweden's public health agency suggested to classify CUMYL-THPINACA as hazardous substance on November 10, 2014.[4]
As of October 2015 CUMYL-THPINACA is a controlled substance in China.[5]
