CUMYL-PINACA (also known asSGT-24) is anindazole-3-carboxamide basedsynthetic cannabinoid. CUMYL-PINACA acts as a potentagonist for thecannabinoid receptors, with approximately 3x selectivity forCB1, having an EC50 of 0.15nM for humanCB1 receptors and 0.41nM for humanCB2 receptors.[1] In its pure form, it is described as a sticky oil which can cause poisoning throughtransdermal exposure.[2]
Sweden's public health agency suggested classifying CUMYL-PINACA as a hazardous substance, on November 10, 2014.[3]
