CJIB-FM (107.5MHz) is aradio station inVernon, British Columbia,Canada. Owned by theJim Pattison Group, it broadcasts anadult hits format branded asBeach Radio 107.5.
The station began broadcasting in1947 as CJIB atAM 940 kHz and went through different ownerships over the years. The station was affiliated toCBC Radio'sDominion Network from 1949 until 1962. On March 15,2001, CJIB was converted to the FM band at 107.5 MHz becoming Vernon's first ever FM radio station.[1]
In late 2001, CJIB adopted new call letters as CKIS which lasted until2003 (now assigned toa station in Toronto), at which time it took the callsign CKIZ, and changed formats tohot adult contemporary. CKIZ-FM reverted toAC in2007.
On February 25,2005,Rogers Radio was given approval by theCRTC to add a 10 watt FM transmitter atEnderby at 93.9 MHz to rebroadcast the programming of CKIZ-FM, which was no longer receivable there after its conversion from the AM band in 2001.[2]
In 2010, the station was sold to theJim Pattison Group.

On December 14, 2017, the station re-branded from107.5 Kiss FM toBeach Radio 107.5, flipping toadult hits. The station also returned to its legacy CJIB calls.
