Dikaka orCham, is one of theSavanna languages ofMiddle Belt,Nigeria. It is also known asDijim–Bwilim, after its two dialects, Dijim and Bwilim. Atonal language, it has awhistled register. It is spoken in Gombe and southwestern parts ofAdamawa State of Nigeria.
The two dialects are Dijim and Bwilim.[2]
Another related dialect is spoken by former speakers of theJalaa language in and around Loojaa settlement.
It consists of 8 vowels and 17 consonants.
