Buston (Tajik:Бӯстон;Russian:Бустон) is anurban-type settlement andjamoat (municipality) in northernTajikistan. It is the administrative capital ofMastchoh District inSughd Region[2] with population of 15,500 (1 January 2020 est.).[1] Farmland,mountain ranges and steep valleys and gorges surround Buston.
