Burg (Spreewald) (German pronunciation:[bʊʁk]ⓘ;Lower Sorbian:Bórkowy (Błota)) is amunicipality in the district ofSpree-Neiße, inLower Lusatia,Brandenburg,Germany.
From 1815 to 1947, Burg was part of thePrussianProvince of Brandenburg.
AfterWorld War II, Burg was incorporated into the State ofBrandenburg from 1947 to 1952 and theBezirk Cottbus ofEast Germany from 1952 to 1990. Since 1990, Burg has been part of Brandenburg.
