Gordon David Nunn (29 May 1927 – 13 September 2008), better known asBunny Nunn, was an Australiansoccer player who played as aforward.
Nunn attendedBundamba State School before learning signwriting at theIpswich Technical College.[2]
During World War II, Nunn served with theRoyal Australian Air Force with Air Sea Rescue. His service number was 171508.[2][3]
As a 17-year-old Nunn made his debut forIpswich club St Helens. From 1951, he spent three seasons withBrisbane Caledonians before returning to St Helens in 1954.[4][5][6] He later moved again toBrisbane to play forAzzurri.[2][7]
Nunn played 11 times forAustralia in full internationals, scoring seven times.[8] He has been designated as Socceroo #110.[9]
Nunn married Elizabeth Grieve Smith in 1950.[10] They had four children and she predeceased him in 1972.[11]
