Bungowannah is a locality in theRiverina region ofNew South Wales, Australia. The locality is on theRiverina Highway, about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) north west ofAlbury and 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south east ofHowlong.
Bungowannah Post Office opened on 1 December 1867,[3] was closed between 1906 and 1918, and finally closed in 1951.[4]
