Bulgebi is classified as Definitely Endangered by theUNESCOAtlas of the World's Languages in Danger.

Bulgebi is a nearly extinctFinisterre languages ofPapua New Guinea. It is spoken in theMadang province near theAstrolabe Bay and the lowerNankina river, slightly inland on the eastern end of the southern coast.[2]
