TheBulgaria national cricket team representsBulgaria ininternational cricket. The team is organised by theBulgarian Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of theInternational Cricket Council (ICC) in 2008[5] and anassociate member in 2017.[1] Bulgaria made its international debut in 2004, at theECC Representative Championship inSlovenia. The majority of its matches since then have come against other European affiliate members of the ICC, including in severalEuropean Cricket Council (ECC) tournaments.[6]

In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant fullTwenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. Therefore, allTwenty20 matches played between Bulgaria and otherICC members after 1 January 2019 have the T20I status.[7]

Bulgaria played their first T20I on 14 October 2019, againstSerbia, during the2019 Hellenic Premier League. Bulgaria won by 6 wickets.[8]
