Brynton Lemar (born January 23, 1995)[1] is an American-born Jamaican professional basketball player forCedevita Olimpija of theSlovenian Basketball League andABA League. After playing four years ofcollege basketball atUC Davis, Lemar entered the2017 NBA draft, but was not selected in the draft's two rounds.
Lemar attendedSt. Augustine High School, inSan Diego, California.[2][3] In his last season at Body of Christ, he averaged 21 points, 8.2 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game.[4]
After high school, Lemar playedcollege basketball atUC Davis, from 2013 to 2017.[5] In his senior year at UC Davis, Lemar averaged 16.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. He was named to theBig West All-First Team.[6]
After not being drafted in the2017 NBA draft, Lemar signed withSLUC Nancy of theLNB Pro B.[7] He finished the season withCaen.
On July 13, 2020, Lemar joinedGaziantep Basketbol.[8] On February 14, 2021, he joinedReggiana of theLBA.[9][10]
On August 2, 2021, he joinedEnisey of theVTB United League.[11] He left the team and joinedLe Mans of thePro A.[12]
On February 23, 2023, Lemar joinedAEK Athens, of theGreek Basket League, replacingCameron McGriff on the team's squad.[13][14]
On July 20, 2023, he signed withHapoel Jerusalem of theIsraeli Basketball Premier League.[15][16][17]
On June 16, 2024, he signed withCedevita Olimpija of theSlovenian Basketball League andABA League.[18]
