TheBrussels Open, unofficially also known asOpen de Bruxelles, was a professional women'stennis tournament on theWTA Tour held at the Royal Primerose Tennis Club inBrussels, Belgium. It was first held in2011, replacing theWarsaw Open,[1] and last held in2013. The Brussels Open was played on outdoorclay courts and scheduled in May as a preparation tournament for theFrench Open.[2] In 2014 the tournament was initially downgraded fromPremier toInternational status, and was subsequently cancelled. It's slot on the WTA Tour calendar was taken up by theNuremberg Cup.[3][4]
